The Business

Suma Wholefoods are specialist distributors in vegetarian, organic, fairtrade, natural and fine foods in the UK and beyond. They are the UK's largest worker owned co-operative and Europe's largest equal pay organisation. Suma is run by owner members who all have an equal share in the business and a say in decision making.

The Challenge

When we met Suma, they were experiencing many of the electrical compliance headaches that many companies encounter as they grow. After our initial meetings with the facilities team, they told us that the current regimes for electrical compliance were a bit disjointed and that it was costing precious time and money organising electrical compliance across multiple buildings and assets. A full evaluation of electrical compliance requirements was required to ascertain the current situation to enable us to offer solutions to the client
